Steaming into Swindon Monopoly

It only seems like yesterday that I was taking photographs for Swindon's number 1 visitor attraction, STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway, and just over 5 years later one of those photographs not only graces a segment on on the board but also the centre section of the playing board.

The photograph that they have used is of the Bristolian steam engine taken as pat of a body of photographs provided by Lantern Photography for publicity of the museum.

It is a great pleasure to see the museum taking centre stage in the promotion of the Swindon version of the Monopoly game, with luck this will boost visitors to the mueseum and ensure it stays open for many years to come.

The museum is a fantastic day out a real asset to Swindon so if you have never visited before I urge you to do so and whilst their check out the range of postcards taken by Lantern Photography. If you can't make the museum you can view the postcards below.
